US vetoes UNSC resolution demanding permanent Gaza ceasefire

The United States has vetoed a UN Security Council resolution that demanded a permanent ceasefire in Gaza.
It was the fifth time since the start of the war that the US has blocked the council’s move to end the war.
Palestinian resistance groups condemned the US, saying that the veto revealed Washington's blind bias towards the Israeli regime.
