US-Israel Gaza genocide
At least 30 Palestinians have been killed and dozens of others injured in fresh Israeli attacks on residential areas in northern Gaza. The casualties were recorded in the town of Beit Lahia and the Jabalia refugee camp. A number of Palestinians are reported missing in the targeted areas as well. Also on Thursday, over 130 Palestinians lost their lives in Israeli attacks on the besieged strip. The death toll from the US-Israeli genocide in Gaza since October 2023 has surpassed 53,000.
Israeli war on Gaza children
The United Nations Children's Fund has denounced Israel’s killing of nearly 50 children in Gaza in just two days, criticizing the world’s indifference. UNICEF chief, Catherine Russell, also described the killing as unconscionable, adding that nowhere is safe for children in Gaza. She warned about the dire humanitarian situation of Palestinian kids as well. Russel said over one million Gazan children are at risk of starvation, with no access to food, water and medicine. Children, along with women, make up the majority of the death toll from incessant attacks on Gaza. International agencies, including UNICEF, have warned for a number of times that thousands of children have been amputated in Gaza since the start of the genocidal war.
Yemenis solidarity with Gaza
Like every Friday, scenes of support and solidarity for Palestinians have emerged in Yemen. Tens of thousands of Yemenis took part in a rally in Sa’ada, chanting slogans against the U-S and Israel. The demonstrators were holding Yemeni and Palestinian flags. They also expressed support for the Yemeni military for its anti-Israel operations. Yemenis have been holding pro-Palestine rallies almost every Friday since the beginning of the genocidal war on Gaza in October 2023.
