Arab and Islamic summit
Arab and Muslim leaders have taken part at a summit in Saudi Arabia focusing on Israel’s deadly and devastating wars in Gaza and Lebanon. The Extraordinary Arab and Islamic Summit was called by Iran and several other countries. The senior officials unanimously condemned Israel's atrocities and called for action to stop them.
Hezbollah major reprisal operation
The Lebanese resistance movement, Hezbollah has targeted several Israeli positions in a series of fresh retaliatory strikes. Over 90 rockets have been fired from Lebanon into the Israeli occupied territories. In one of the attacks, a training base for the Paratroopers Brigade in the settlement of Karmiel was targeted with a rocket barrage, injuring at least six people. The resistance group has also fired rockets at several Israeli settlements. Artillery shells and kamikaze drones hit 2 separate gatherings of Israeli forces. The Israeli media has also reported rockets hitting several vehicles and buildings in the occupied city of Haifa, calling it the heaviest shelling on the area since the start of the war on Lebanon. The Israeli army has admitted to 15 casualties. Hezbollah says the attacks are in support of the Palestinian people and in defense of Lebanon. Israel recently intensified its aerial strikes on Lebanon and launched a ground invasion of the country.
Gaza bloodshed unabated
The Israeli regime continues its genocidal war on Gaza targeting the central and northern parts of the besieged Strip. Palestinian Red Crescent Society says its paramedics transferred the bodies of several Palestinians killed in an attack on a store in Gaza City. In the Nuseirat refugee camp, at least four people have been killed and thirty others wounded since Sunday night. The occupation forces continue to prevent the entry of food, water and medicine into the blockaded territory. The Palestinian death toll due to the Israeli genocidal war that began on October 7 last year tops 43,600. Nearly 103,000 people have also been wounded.
