May 23: ‘Axis of Resistance’ operations against Israeli occupation

Amid Israel's genocidal war on Gaza, which has killed more than 35,800 Palestinians so far, resistance groups in Palestine and across the region continue their operations against the Tel Aviv regime and its Western backers.

The major operations carried out by the Palestinian and regional resistance groups on Thursday, May 23, are as follows:

Al-Qassam Brigades' operations on May 23:

Blew up a booby-trapped tunnel entrance on an Israeli infantry force in Beit Hanoun in the northern Gaza Strip, causing many casualties.

Bombed a gathering of Israeli soldiers and their military vehicles near the Salah Al-Din Gate, south of Rafah in the southern Gaza Strip, with mortar shells.

Targeted and destroyed three Israeli military Merkava-4 tanks with Al-Yassin-105 shells near the Habboub Building and Girls’ Schools Street in the Jabalia camp in the northern Gaza Strip.

Al-Quds Brigades' operations on May 23:

In a joint operation with the Omar Al-Qasim Forces, targeted an Israeli military Merkava tank with a tandem shell near the Aisha Mosque in the Jabalia camp in the northern Gaza Strip.

Sniped an Israeli soldier on the Netzarim axis southwest of Gaza Strip. 

Targeted a gathering of Israeli soldiers and their military vehicles near the Salah Al-Din Gate south of Rafah with heavy-caliber mortar shells.

Bombed the positions of Israeli soldiers on the supply line on the Netzarim axis, south of Gaza City, with a barrage of mortar shells.

Targeted a convoy of Israeli military vehicles east of the Central Governorate with a barrage of 107mm rockets.

Targeted a gathering of Israeli soldiers and their military vehicles with a barrage of 60mm mortar shells southeast of Rafah in southern Gaza.

Targeted a gathering of Israeli soldiers and their military vehicles east of the Jabalia camp with a barrage of mortar shells.

Al-Aqsa Martyrs Brigades' operations on May 23:

Targeted a gathering of Israeli soldiers and their military vehicles with a barrage of mortar shells east of the Jabalia camp.

Al-Asifah Forces' operations on May 23:

Bombed a gathering of Israeli soldiers and their military vehicles around the Eastern Cemetery with short-range 107-type rockets.

Martyr Omar Al-Qasim Forces' operations on May 23:

Targeted a gathering of Israeli forces near the Salah Al-Din Gate in Rafah in southern Gaza with mortar shells.

Targeted a gathering of Israeli soldiers at the Sofa military support site with Qasim-10 rockets.

Detonated a high-impact explosive device in an Israeli troop carrier in the center of the Al-Jeneina neighborhood in Rafah, southern Gaza Strip.

Hezbollah's operations on May 23:

Eastern sector:

At around 11:50 local time, targeted the 91st Division headquarters at the Illit base with dozens of Katyusha rockets.

At around 12:30 local time, targeted surveillance equipment at the Metulla site.

At around 14:30 local time, targeted the headquarters of the Sahel Battalion of the 769th Brigade at the Beit Hillel base with dozens of Katyusha and Falaq rockets.

At around 16:55 local time, targeted the Al-Marj site with artillery shells.

At around 20:30 local time, targeted the headquarters of the 769th Brigade in Kiryat Shmona with drones.

At around 19:20 local time, targeted the Zibdeen barracks in Lebanon's Shebaa with a barrage of missiles.

At around 22:20 local time, targeted Israeli soldiers in the Metulla settlement with appropriate weapons.

Western sector:

At around 14:30 local time, targeted surveillance equipment at the Rahib site.

At around 16:55 local time, targeted a Merkava tank in the Shtoula Forest with guided missiles, confirming casualties.

At around 21:15 local time, targeted three Israeli military buildings in the Evin Menachem settlement.

Islamic Resistance in Iraq's operations on May 23:

Targeted a vital Israeli military site in Umm al-Rashrash (Eilat) with a barrage of drones.

Targeted an Israeli military site in the occupied Golan Heights with a barrage of drones.

Launched advanced Arqab cruise missiles at vital Israeli military targets in the Port of Haifa in occupied Palestinian territories.
