Germany: Thousands march to demand 'immediate' cessation of arms supplies to Israel
Thousands of pro-Palestine supporters joined a rally in Berlin to demand a ceasefire in Gaza as well as an "immediate" cessation of arms supplies to Israel amid the ongoing war.
Footage features protesters marching with banners and placards reading "Free Palestine", "Stop genocide in Gaza", and "German state reason, stop funding the genocide", among others. People can also be heard chanting "Boycott Israel". The video also shows rally participants arguing with police.
The same rally was also held in the German city of Frankfurt where people gathered to express their support for the people of Gaza. Protesters hold placards and banners reading "Ceasefire now," "End the war genocide" and "End German support for occupation terror" as well as chanting slogans such as "Palestine will be free" and "Long live Palestine".
