US-Israeli genocide

The ongoing US-Israeli genocidal war on Gaza is in its 142nd day despite global condemnation and international calls for a ceasefire. In their latest attacks, Israeli troops raided the Beit Lahia area, setting homes on fire and destroying some of them. Rescue workers were scrambling to pull victims from the rubble. Earlier, the regime’s helicopters bombed the southern areas of Deir al-Balah, a city in central Gaza. Israeli warplanes also pounded a town near the southern city of Khan Yunis. The city’s Nasser hospital is still under Israeli siege. Over 29,600 people have been killed in Israeli attacks in Gaza since October 7. Most of them are women and children.

Israeli Gaza losses

More Israeli troopers are killed in the Gaza Strip as Palestinian resistance groups fight off occupation forces on the ground. The Israeli military says two of its personnel, one of them a commander, have been killed in the Palestinian territory since Saturday. The two were killed in separate incidents in southern and northern Gaza. According to the military, fighting in the south also left an Israeli officer and two troopers seriously injured. The regime has so far confirmed deaths of 239 of its forces in Gaza since it began its incursion into the territory on October 7. Palestinian groups, however, say Israel is hiding the real number of the deaths of its troopers in an attempt at damage control.

Yemen Gaza support

American and British fighter jets have carried out fresh strikes across Yemen in their fourth joint operation against the Arab country. The air strikes hit the provinces of Sana’a, Ta’iz and Hajjah. Several locations including a pesticide factory and telecommunications networks were targeted. Meanwhile, the Yemeni army carried out operations against US targets in the Red Sea and the Gulf of Aden. Yemen’s army spokesman Yahya Saree says an American oil tanker and several warships were targeted with missiles. Saree said the army would continue such operations in response to attacks by the US and the UK and in solidarity with Palestinians in Gaza. Meanwhile, Iran has denounced the latest strikes on Yemen, saying Washington and London are seeking to escalate tensions and crises in the region.
