Israel's indiscriminate attacks have killed more than 70 Palestinian civilians across the central part of the Gaza Strip, which has been under the regime's genocidal war for more than four months.

According to Palestinian medical sources, the fatalities were caused by Israel's incessant air and artillery strikes on the Nuseirat refugee camp, Zuwaida district, and the city of Deir al-Balah on Sunday, the official Palestinian Wafa news agency reported.

It added that dozens of others, mostly women and children, were wounded in the regime's strikes.

Elsewhere around the coastal territory, five bodies, mostly children, were recovered from under the rubble following Israeli bombardment of areas in northern Gaza.

In Gaza City, the regime brought the neighborhoods of Shuja'iyya, Zeitoun, Tel al-Hawa, and Sheikh Ijlin under attack.

Gaza's Health Ministry said the regime has committed 13 massacres across the territory during the past 24 hours, killing at least 127 civilians and injuring over 200 others.

A large number of victims were still buried under the rubble of bombed buildings or lying along the roads, it added.

The ministry also reported on the situation at the Nasser Hospital in the southern Gaza city of Khan Yunis that has been under siege for days by the regime's forces, who have reportedly turned it into a military base.

It said Israeli forces have crammed as many as 150 patients who cannot move inside the rooms and corridors of the old building of the facility, denying them medical care after arresting at least 70 members of the hospital's administrative department and medical staff.

"The occupation refuses to evacuate patients to receive treatment at other hospitals, which puts their lives at risk," the ministry noted, adding that they include seven patients in intensive care, five dialysis patients, and three newborns, in addition to cases of burn, amputation, quadriplegia, childbirth, and others.

The regime has been waging a genocidal war on the coastal territory since October 7, 2023, when Gaza's resistance movements conducted Operation al-Aqsa Storm against the occupied territories.

So far, nearly 29,000 Palestinians, most of them women and children, have been killed in the regime's brutal onslaught, while more than 68,800 others have been wounded.

According to Gaza's Government Media Office, around 7,000 civilians have been also reported missing since the onset of Israel's military aggression.
