Twenty-five people have been reportedly killed and dozens more injured after the Israeli military bombed a home in the southern Gaza Strip.

According to Al Jazeera, the bombing targeted a home where displaced people were sheltering East of Rafah.

The attack comes as Israel intensifies its assault on Rafah, which faces an imminent threat of Israeli ground invasion in spite of stern warnings about the consequences of such an offensive.

More than one million people have fled to the southern Gaza City since the beginning of the Tel Aviv regime’s genocidal war on Gaza, which has so far killed around 28,000 Palestinians, mostly women and children.

Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu ordered the Israeli military on Friday to prepare to evacuate civilians from Rafah ahead of a planned ground offensive against the city.

The United Nations and numerous countries – including the United States, which has firmly supported the Israeli war on Gaza – have expressed their opposition to the invasion.
