Pro-Palestinian protesters block highway in Philadelphia

Activists calling for a ceasefire in the ongoing Israel's war in Gaza blocked traffic on a major highway in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania.

Members of Jewish Voice for Peace protested in eight US cities to mark the eighth night of Hanukkah, also blocking commuter traffic on streets and bridges in Washington, Boston, Atlanta, Chicago, Minneapolis, Seattle and Portland, Oregon.

According to ABC affiliate WPVI, Philadelphia's Schuylkill Expressway and the Spring Garden Street Bridge had reopened to traffic after protesters dispersed. Citing interim Police Commissioner John Stanford, WPVI said 32 people had been arrested.
