The United States has supplied Israel with more than 10,000 tons of military equipment since the beginning of the occupying regime’s war on the besieged Gaza Strip, says Tel Aviv, which ceaselessly drops bombs on the densely-populated Palestinian territory.

In a statement on Wednesday, Israel’s ministry of military affairs said that the 200th cargo plane, since October 11, carrying military equipment for the army had arrived from the US in Israel.

“Since then, over 10,000 tons of military equipment was delivered to Israel since the beginning of the war,” it said.

According to the ministry, the US military equipment includes “armored vehicles, armaments, personal protective equipment, medical supplies, ammunition, and more.”

Last month, the American non-profit news organization The Intercept reported that US President Joe Biden has requested the removal of nearly every restriction on Israel’s use of the stockpiles of weapons and ammunition stored by the US in Israel.

Israel resumed its brutal war on Gaza on Friday after the end of a week-long humanitarian pause with the Palestinian Hamas resistance group.

Israel launched the war on Gaza on October 7 after Hamas waged the surprise Operation Al-Aqsa Storm against the occupying entity in response to the Israeli regime's decades-long suppression and devastation against Palestinians.

At least 16,248 Palestinians have been killed, most of them women and children, and more than 43,616 others injured since the onset of the current US-backed war.
