Fragile Gaza truce

Day 3 of the ceasefire in the Gaza Strip has come to an end. This, after 48 consecutive days of some of the worst weapons to exist falling on the heads of Gazans in one of the most densely-populated places in the world.

The sight and sounds of bombs falling, phosphorous burning, and missiles made by the US and used by the Zionist regime against Palestinians cutting into pieces have been quieter during the last three days. Meanwhile, people in a devastated Gaza try to get supplies, if they are able to, as uncertainty looms. Will this ceasefire be extended or not?

This edition of the Spotlight program is about the fragile status of the four-day truce between Hamas and Israel. The program looks at whether or not the truce will be extended.
