Deep divisions at G20

G20 leaders meeting in India should have displayed a show of unity among the world's 20 most advanced economies to find solutions to the most pressing global problems, but they failed to do so.

First, there was the absence of China, which chose not to attend this meeting. And then there is Russia, which could not attend due to the Ukraine conflict. And in terms of consensus, there was a lack of one on many fronts, like phasing-out of fossil fuels and the war in Ukraine. We have discussed these issues in this edition of the Spotlight program.
