Half of US poor skipped meals last month, doubling from 1 year ago

In the United States, the poor has been hit by a double whammy of record inflation combined with the end of Covid-era assistance programs. With exhausted savings and drastically reduced government aid, low income families are now reporting an enormous increase in hunger. Ramin Mazaheri has more from Chicago.
