Sudan fighting

Fierce fighting rages between Sudan’s army and a paramilitary group in the capital Khartoum, hours before a humanitarian ceasefire is to take effect. The US and Saudi facilitators announced that the ceasefire agreed between the rival camps would take effect at 19:45 GMT, Monday, to enable humanitarian assistance to civilians. However, the two sides continue fighting with no sign of withdrawal from the streets yet. There have been several ceasefire attempts so far, but none held successfully.
