People across Pakistan including the port city of Karachi staged anti-Israel rallies. They marked International Quds Day, a legacy of Imam Khomeini, the late founder of Iran’s Islamic Republic.

Many years have passed since the late founder of Iran’s Islamic Republic Ayatollah Khomeini declared the last Friday of Ramadan as Quds Day. People in Pakistan hold rallies every year in a show of support for the Palestinian cause.

Protesters slammed what they called the “criminal silence” of the international community over Israeli atrocities in Palestine.

Demonstrators also condemned the conspiracists who are looking to have normal ties with Israel. Muslims around the world believe this unity and solidarity, and the evermore decline of the US as a global power, will soon carve the way for the end of the Zionist regime.
