Fasting Afghans show support for Palestinians ahead of International Quds Day

As International Quds Day approaches, large billboards themed "Iftar in Quds" have been going up across the capital Kabul. The goal is to support the occupied al-Quds and the Palestinian nation.

People of Afghanistan consider al-Quds as a source of religious unity and brotherhood against hegemonic powers or the global arrogance.

Supporting the Palestinian nation is an issue that the people of Afghanistan have always insisted on. The people here hope that in the not-too-distant future, the Palestinian nation and the holy Quds will be freed from the occupation of the Zionist regime.

The Israeli regime has in recent months stepped up its atrocities, killing around 100 Palestinians this year alone.

The people of Afghanistan are against the Israeli occupation of Palestine as they have endured tyranny and are familiar with the crimes committed during the US occupation of Afghanistan for over the past two decades.
