Iran’s Islamic Revolution, an Inspiration for Africa

This year Iran is marking the 44th anniversary of the victory of the glorious Islamic Revolution. This revolution inspired many across the world especially the people of Africa who have for centuries suffered from exploitation by Western imperialism powers.

The 44th anniversary of the victory of the 1979 Islamic Revolution is being marked this year amid moves by several African countries to follow Iran’s footsteps in resisting imperialist powers.

In the recent past, Ghana has moved to dump the US dollar in some of its transactions, while Zimbabwe has banned the export of raw minerals in a bid to stop the plunder of the country’s natural resources by Western multinationals.

In our show today we are focusing on how the Islamic Revolution continues to inspire African countries and the rapidly improving trade ties between Iran and Africa.
