The Netherlands have become the first country into the World Cup quarter-finals as they beat the United States 3-1 at the Khalifa International Stadium.

Then, in the 76th minute, Haji Wright, scrambled in a reply for the United States to give the Americans some hope. But the star of the match Dumfries, capped off the night, volleying home a 3rd inside the final 10 minutes to seal a 7th quarter-final appearance for the Dutch.
