EU sanctions press TV

The European Union has imposed fresh sanctions on Iran over its response to the recent riots in the country.

The block has targeted a number of individuals and entities over what it called Tehrans widespread use of force against peaceful protesters.

Iranian 24-hour English News Channel Press TV is also blacklisted over alleged rights violations.
