West anti-Iran approach

Iran has been a target of Western sanctions for some time, especially the US. And now, with the most recent protests which consist of foreign-backed riots, more sanctions are coming.

Sanctions are raining down on Iran again. From Canada's sanctions on Iran's Press TV, to IRGC members, to the US and UK sanctioning of Iran’s police.

We ask: does the US, UK or Western countries have the ground to stand on when it comes to human rights, or their right to impose sanctions when they are guilty of human rights violations in their own country? And don’t their sanctions constitute interference in other countries affairs? Those questions and more in this edition of the Spotlight.
