US Iran Sanctions

UN Special Rapporteur has slammed unilateral sanctions for having adverse impact on ordinary people, since they “hinder delivery of humanitarian aid”.

Urging all states to take steps to eliminate and minimize impact of sanctions, Alena Douhan called on the US to remove its anti-Iran sanctions.

According to her, US sanctions against Iran are not authorized by the Security Council.

Tehran says unilateral US sanctions have inflicted irreparable damage on Iran’'s healthcare system.
