SCO Summit

Iran’'s President Raeisi is in Uzbekistan to attend Shanghai Cooperation Organization’s summit.

Iran has applied for full membership of the organization and signed SCO Memorandum of Obligations and arrangements on Wednesday.

Iran'’s accession to SCO is expected to be finalized by April 2023.

Meeting President Putin on sidelines of the summit, Raeisi said cooperation among countries targeted by US sanctions will make them stronger.

Hailing Russia's growing ties with Iran, Putin said a delegation of 80 large Russian companies will visit Iran next week.

Press TV interviews Gilbert Doctorow independent international affairs analyst from Moscow and William Jones with Executive Intelligence Review from Leesburg to look at Iran'’s membership in Shanghai Cooperation Organization and what difference it can make in national level and world stage.
