Iranian Foreign Minister in Mali

Iranian Foreign Minister Hossein Amir-Abdollahian has arrived in the Malian Capital Bamako for high-level talks with the West African country’s officials. Amir-Abdollahian says his trip is in line with Tehran's policy of comprehensive improvement of ties with African states.

Slamming Israel’s Syria strikes

Russia’s Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov says his country strongly condemns Israel’s missile attacks against Syria. Lavrov made the remarks during a joint presser with his visiting Syrian counterpart Faisal Mekdad in Moscow. The top Russian diplomat hailed ties with Syria and said Moscow would continue its support for the Arab country in its fight against terrorism. In response to a question about Turkey's preparations for a new operation in northern Syria, Lavrov said no such action should be allowed there.

Israeli atrocities

Palestinians have held a mass funeral for a young man who succumbed to his injuries sustained during a recent Israel raid on the occupied West Bank city of Nablus. Mohammad Arayshi died on Tuesday. He had been fighting for his life after being critically wounded by Israeli forces two weeks ago. During that raid three other Palestinians, including senior member of a resistance movement, Ibrahim al-Nablusi were also killed. The regime has intensified its crackdown across the occupied territories in recent months, killing dozens. Israeli forces have also detained dozens of Palestinians.
