French President Emmanuel Macron recently said he wanted a review of his countrys military policies on the African continent and had asked his ministers and army chiefs to work on it.
This week we are focusing on efforts by France to re-boot its diminishing neo-colonial interests in Africa. France is clearly ignoring the voices of most Africans who want to see an end to the negative influence of former colonial powers in the continent.
The second part of our program will be on a new report showing that African governments owe three times more debt to Western private lenders than to China, and are charged double the interest.
