US Military Shortfalls

The US military sector is struggling to recruit more personnel as the nation’s youths lose interest in joining the army. As a result, the armed forces are experiencing large shortfalls in enlistments for various posts.

The figures representing lack of enthusiasm among job seekers to join the army has never been this low since the time after the US war on Vietnam in 1975. However, the issue is not just related to shortage of interest as less than a quarter of young American adults are physically fit and many others have criminal records, disqualifying them to be enlisted.

In this episode, we will focus on the US military sector and its shortfalls in enlistment. With interest to join the army dwindling in the nation, the US defense is trying hard to create incentives to hire staff necessary for its operations.
