Members of the Academic Forum of the Islamic Movement in Nigeria have visited Sheikh Ibrahim Zakzaky on the occasion of the anniversary of the passing away of the leader of Iran’s Islamic Revolution Imam Khomeini.

They described Imam Khomeini as a true leader who fought against oppression and injustice, not just in Iran, but everywhere around the world. Sheikh Zakzaky described Imam Khomeini as an exemplary and upright leader who has become a role model for youths everywhere.

Sheikh Zakzaky said Iran’s 1979 Islamic Revolution was an inspiration to many people around the world who want to establish truth and social justice. He said the legacy of Imam Khomeini still lives on, several decades after his passing.
