Esper’s book: Trump’s 2020 re-election, motive for Gen. Soleimani's assassination

Former US defense secretary Mark Esper has made new revelations about Trump’s hostile political decisions.

In his new memoir titled A Sacred Oath: Memoirs of a Defense Secretary in Extraordinary Times, Esper discloses that Trump ordered the assassination of Iran’s top General Soleimani to get re-elected in 2020.

Throughout the book, Esper has presented himself as one who stoutly resisted Trump’s foolhardy and illegal decisions.

He has referred to General Soleimani’s assassination as “a really bad idea with very big consequences” which also “stunned” the chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff Mark Milley.

The cowardly assassination of General Soleimani was indeed a “bad idea,” which of course didn’t go unanswered.

Iran launched a barrage of ballistic missiles at the United States’ Ayn al-Asad airbase in Iraq.

The strike left more than 100 US troops with traumatic brain injuries.

Iranian military officials have vowed to hunt down the perpetrators of the act of terror.
