US Crimes in Libya

Families of victims of a deadly United States military drone strike in Libya have filed a complaint against the Italian commander in charge of the naval station used to carry out the attack.

The Tuareg elders are also demanding that the US military command in Africa apologizes for the deadly drone that targeted innocent civilians. This week we are discussing one of the many war crimes committed by the United States and its allies in Libya where some of the affected families have now taken legal action.

We are asking, can these victims of US impunity get justice? In the second part of our show today, we are discussing the worrying trend of Nigerian medical doctors leaving the country to work in Western countries. This emigration is negatively impacting on Nigeria’s health system. Some experts say if medical brain drain worsens critical staff shortages in vulnerable regions, it is unethical.
