This Iftar spread stretches for 5 kilometers. Organized by Tehran's Grand Bazaar, the event serves Iftar to over 5,000 people, mostly low income families. Organizers say it is the longest Iftar spread ever hosted in the world.

This is the second time Tehran's Grand Bazaar hosts such a large scale Iftar meal as a charity gesture. The benefactors who contributed to the event say Ramadan is a time to push the limits on humanity and put a smile on the faces of the needy.

Every year in Ramadan, charity works get supercharged with Muslims trying to pitch in to have a say in helping the poor, as they believe Ramadan is not just about abstention from eating and drinking, but it's a time for sharing love and kindness with fellow human beings.

With all its beautiful celebrations like this large Iftar party, Ramadan is about to come to an end, but organizers here say what's important is to keep up its lessons on the beauty of kindness and togetherness, which if learned, the world would be a better place to live.
