Turkey's u-turn on Khashoggi case
It was a case in which the outcome was evident. The Khashoggi assassination at the hands of the Saudi state was known to everyone.
Yet Saudi Arabia, despite mounting evidence against it, and the Saudi Crown Prince, was getting away with murder, literally. If there was any chance of justice being served, it lied with the Turkish government, where the assassination took place. Yet the Turkish President has now turned over the case to Riyadh.
