On the banks of Kashmir's famous Dal lake, surrounded by the majestic Zabarwan mountain range, Asia's largest tulip garden opens for visitors and 1.5 million flowers of 68 varieties have vibrantly colored the earth.

Kashmir is witnessing a bumper tourist season this spring after COVID-19 related lockdowns.

Tourists stopped visiting Kashmir during the pandemic and Kashmir's economy has suffered a major setback over last two years.

To reclaim the fractured economy, Kashmir's administration has organized a 'tulip festival' to attract more tourists and locals.
