Nadal beats Opelka, sets up Kyrgios clash in QF

Rafael Nadal has seen off big-serving American Reilly Opelka through 2 tie-breaks in the 4th round of the Indian Wells Masters, to set up a quarter-final showdown with Nick Kyrgios.

The 21-time grand slam winner survived a serving bombardment from Opelka in the opening set to eventually beat him in the tie-break. The Spaniard then had to rally from a 4-2 deficit in the second to lead 6-5. The towering American held on for another tie-breaker, But Nadal closed it out by pulling Opelka out of the court and the American's backhand landed wide. A three time champion in California, Nadal will next renew his rivalry with Australian Bad Boy Kyrgios after 2 years, as the two are set to meet in the quarter-finals.
