Why has the world turned a blind eye to the world’s worst humanitarian crisis?

Last week, the news about a five-year-old boy who was trapped in a deep well in northern Morocco, hit the headlines. Despite efforts to save his life, the boy tragically died.

While millions of people around the world breathlessly followed the rescue operation, a much bigger tragedy was happening in Yemen at the same time which no one paid attention to.
