Somalia’s Prime Minister Mohamed Hussein Roble and President Mohamed Abdullahi Mohamed have a longstanding dispute over the long-delayed elections.

There are constant fears that their squabbling could erupt into violence amid a split in the country’s security forces. The following remarks by Prime Minister Roble are indicative of divided loyalties within the country’s security forces.
