A BBC journalist caused a social media storm over the weekend after a series of tweets angered the online Afghan community. During his latest visit to Afghanistan, the BBC’s John Simpson shared a series of pictures of Afghan Muslim men alongside derogatory comments which onlookers considered offensive and Islamophobic.
