Italy's workers stage protests as Green Pass comes into force in workplaces

On Friday, Italians from all walks of life staged protests and strikes in many cities across the country on the day the green pass obligation comes into effect in all workplaces. In Trieste, Genoa and other port cities thousands of dockers protested against the compulsoriness of showing a vaccine passport in the place of work threatening to bring the ports to a standstill.
