Asian Volleyball C'Ship: Iran top China 3-1, reach final
Iran have sealed a spot in the 21st edition of Asian men’s volleyball championship final after dismantling China 3-1 in the semi-finals.
It was a neck and neck contest in the opening set, but the defending champions managed to take the upper-hand by taking it 25-22. The Chinese, then dominated in the 2nd set, after taking it 25-17. Despite it was a close contest in the 3rd set, the Asian Power-house, found their rhythm and grabbed the 3rd set 25-22, before taking the 4th set 25-17.
With the victory, Iran advanced to the final for the 2nd time in a row, where they will meet host-nation Japan.
