In India the prolonged closure of schools due to the COVID-19 Pandemic has led to devastating impact on millions of children across the country especially the ones in the rural parts of the country where internet connectivity is dismal and people have very limited access to electricity and smart phones. Based on a new survey, only eight percent of the children sampled were studying online regularly, while 37 percent were not studying at all.
