The partisanship in the United States is tending towards the extremes. For centuries the US has branded itself as a proponent of "democracy," meaning officials are elected by citizens' vote.

But today, voting rights are threatened across the US as the GOP is vying to control elections in multiple states. On the other hand, Democrats are trying to avert the control through the House as well as bills with expansive provisions.

And we will try to answer the question: Can US democracy survive?
