Iran is in the vanguard of this medical development as it prepares to speed up its vaccination drive with homegrown coronavirus jabs.

On Friday, Leader of Iran’s Islamic Revolution Ayatollah Seyyed Ali Khamenei received the first dose of a CovIran Barekat vaccine produced by Iranian scientists inside the country.
