In the Euro 2020, England have advanced to the round of 16 as Group D winners, after edging past the Czech Republic 1-nil at Wembley Stadium.
The Three Lions got on the scoresheet after 12 minutes of play when Manchester City striker Raheem Sterling headed the ball home from a brilliant cross by Jack Grealish.
With the victory, Gareth Southgate’s side finished at the top of their Group, with seven points from three matches.
They will play against the runners-up of Group F in the knock-out stage. However, Southgate believes the encounters will be much more difficult in the coming rounds.
