Chelsea beat Man City to win Champions League

Chelsea have claimed the Champions League title, after stunning Manchester City 1-nil, in an all-English final in front of more than 15-thousand fans in Porto.

The London Blues had the better opportunities throughout the match, and their winning goal came in the 42nd minute when Germany midfielder Kai Havertz collected a through-ball from Mason Mount and beat the on-rushing goalkeeper, before sliding the ball into the back of the net.

The single goal proved to be decisive as Chelsea clinched their first silverware under Thomas Tuchel and only their second ever Champions League crown; while it leaves Manchester City still searching for a maiden European triumph.
