According to British daily, the Sun, the US is going to follow a complex strategy regarding the withdrawal of its troops from Afghanistan. The Sun reported that Washington is going to keep hundreds of its forces in the country in order to avoid the collapse of Kabul by Taliban. According to the report, 600 US marines could be deployed to protect the US embassy in Afghan capital. British and Turkish troops may reportedly assist the US forces. However experts here believe such a move is part of Washington’s psychological war against Afghans after spreading further fear among locals.

In the meantime, many here name the US government as a symbol of imperialism that doesn’t care about basic issues such as peace, human rights and liberties.

As observers say, the US and its allies want to draw a dark picture for the future of Afghanistan. Under such a scenario, the Afghan government will soon collapse by the Taliban and the country will go back to 1990s.

In such circumstances, political elites in Afghanistan say, since Afghans have fully experienced the cost of foreign interference in their country over the past 4 decades, they need to firstly come together and make a united nation and then make a strong policy to deal with foreign players in line with their own national interests.
