Palestinians hold funerals for victims of Israeli airstrikes

People in the Gaza strip have held funerals for Palestinians killed in Israeli airstrikes that targeted residential areas in different parts of the enclave. Over two dozen Palestinians were killed in the attacks. Children are also among the victims.

The ongoing wave of violence broke out on Monday after Hamas issued an ultimatum demanding Israel remove its forces from the al-Aqsa Mosque compound. The Israeli airstrikes after resistance groups in the Gaza Strip conducted rocket attacks against Israel.

International condemnations are pouring in over Israel’s aggression in both the Gaza Strip and occupied Palestinian territories. The regime, however, has rejected international calls to stop deadly violence against Palestinians. 

Palestinians have gathered to mourn some of those who were killed in Israeli raids. As Israel keeps bombing and killing Palestinians, people are calling on the international community to confront the Israeli aggression against Palestinians.
