As the military gains by the Yemeni army against the Saudi-led coalition keep going on especially in the strategic city of Ma’rib, Saudi Crown Prince Mohammed Bin Salman has said the Saudi peace initiative is still on, calling on Yemenis to reconsider the initiative.

For the first time, the Saudi crown prince gave up his threats to Yemenis and appeared with a soft language to stop the years-long war on Yemen.

Yemenis say the Saudi calls for peace are a result of the Yemeni army's continued advancement toward liberating the city of Marib from the Saudi-backed forces.

Earlier, the Yemeni army made new gains by taking control of strategic areas in Ma’rib including al-toomah al-Olia hill which is four kilometers away from the western neighborhoods of the city of Marib.

As the people here say, Saudi Arabia has come to realize that the first step toward peace is stopping the war and siege, otherwise, the Yemeni army will continue its operations, whether on the ground or the attacks against Saudi facilities.
