Anti-monarchy activists showed up at the headquarters of Spain's car manufacturer SEAT in the northwest of Barcelona to protest a visit by King Felipe and Prime Prime Minister Pedro Sánchez.

Protesters shouted slogans against the monarch and held banners reading, "Catalonia has no King", one week after violent riots shook the region over the imprisonment of a rapper for insulting the Spanish royals.

The rejection of the Spanish monarchy has become a recurrent theme with every royal visit to Catalonia over the past years. Here are some of the grievances with regard to this particular visit to the car factory.
