Iranian MPs congratulate Iraq on anniversary of victory over Daesh

Three years ago, on these days Iraqis emerged victorious in their fight against the terrorist Daesh group that had seized large parts of the country.
The name of a country will never be forgotten in winning this victory for the Iraqi people. That is Iran.
General Qassem Soleimani, who was killed by the United States, along with Abu Mahdi al Muhandis played a very crucial role to defeat the takfiri terrorists.
Iraqi Prime Minister Mostafa Kadhim, who took office after a political deadlock has called the defeat of Daesh a victory of civilization over backwardness.
Earlier, Iran congratulated the Iraqis on the anniversary of the defeat of the Daesh and called on the international community to be aware of the possibility of the resurgence of the group.
