Australia admits to killing Afghan civilians

Australia has apologized to Afghanistan after admitting that there was credible evidence its forces unlawfully killed Afghan civilians and prisoners. The crimes were committed between 2005 and 2016. Afghan human rights groups and activists have urged the Afghan government to conduct its own investigation.
