UEFA Nations League: Poland 1-2 Netherland

Over the UEFA Nations League, the Netherlands completed a comeback to beat Poland 2-1 in Chorzow, but both teams missed finals.

Poland clinched to an early lead in the 6th minute as Kamil Jozwiak sent the ball off the post into the bottom-left corner, after a spectacular solo run.

Tulips earned the equalizer in the 77th minute of the match as Memphis Depay sent an unstoppable penalty past Lukash Fabianski into the top left corner.

The guest-side kept on the pressure through the second half and finally, Georginio Wijnaldum headed a corner into the right side of the goal to make it 2-1 for the Netherlands. Despite the win, Netherlands finished second with 11 points in the League A Group 1 standings and missed the finals. Poles finished third with 7 points.

Elsewhere in the UEFA Nations League, Italy have defeated Bosnia & Herzegovina 2-nil in Sarajevo to finish as the table toppers of League A Group 1 and reach the finals of the tournament.

It was Andrea Belotti who fired in a first-time shot into the left post to bring Italy on the scoresheet in the 22nd minute. Just 8 minutes after the hour-mark, Domenico Berardi showed a good composure inside the box and fired a first-time shot inside the right post to double the lead for Italy.

With the result, Italy advances to the finals as the table-toppers of League A Group 1 with 12 points, while Bosnia have relegated to League B, with only 2 points on the 4th place.
