Over football news, Spain have sealed a spot in the UEFA Nations League finals after humiliating Germany 6-nil in a Group A-4 clash at home.

Both sides needed a victory to book a place in the last 4, and Spain took a lead inside 17 minutes when Alvaro Morata scored with bullet header from a corner kick. Then, Manchester City striker Ferran Torres double the lead for the host with powerful strike from close range in the 33rd minute.

La Roja showed no mercy and made 3-nil, when Rodri headed the ball home before the half-time. The hosts kept their consistency and Torres made it 4-nil before the hour-mark, after scoring his brace from close range.

Spain’s ruthless performance continued when Torres made his hat-trick with a curling effort from the edge of the box in the 71st minute. The German’s misery have completed as Mikel Oyarzabal tucked in the 6th in the stoppage time to secure Luis Enrique’s team-spot in the Nations League finals.

Meanwhile in a Group A-2 match, France have completed their unbeaten run in the group stage, after hammering Sweden 4-2 at Stade de France.

France who had already advanced to the finals, fell behind within 5 minutes, after Viktor Claesson tapped the ball home from close range. However, the hosts leveled the match in the 16th minute, when Chelsea striker, Olivier Giroud, scored with a powerful shot from inside the box.

Then, Bayern Munich defender Benjamin Pavard made it 2-1 in favor of Les Blues with a precise low-shot in the 36th minute. Giroud made it 3-1, after scoring his 2nd with a brilliant diving header from Mbappe's cross, before the hour-mark.

Robin Quaison, however, pulled one back for Sweden from inside the box with 2 minutes remaining. Finally, Kingsley Coman put the icing on the cake in the dying moments of the match, after putting the ball in an empty net from a counter-attack.
